Stephen joined Oakley United at the beginning of the 2006/07 season replacing Kevin Smith who was sold to Steelend Vics. Despite his tender years Stephen has shown great maturity in goal. A great shot-stopper and with a safe set of hands when it comes to corners and cross balls.
Has played a number of ACA league cup games already this season and has played well, he is a valuable addition to the squad and a quality understudy to regular number 1 Greig Maitland. Stephen will we feel benefit greatly from the coaching of Oakley's own goalkeeping legend Brian Potter. |
