Dougie has been at Oakley for ever, solid tackling left back Dougie was part of the Oakley team that won the League title in 2000/01. Renowned for his enthusiasm and lovely “Singing” voice, Dougie can be heard all over Blairwood Park on match day (and most of Oakley, Comrie and on Occasions Blairhall !! ). His colourful use of the English language has landed him in trouble with officials at times, being sent from the dug-out on a recent trip to Broxburn Athletic.
Even at his ripe old age Dougie still takes an active part in all training sessions, and is responsible along with Derek “Minty” Murray with general pre-match warm up.
